On Thursday, the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Ahmed Hanandeh, participated in the Google Cloud Solutions Conference.
The Regional Head of Google Partnerships in the Middle East and North Africa, Qais Momani, said the event aims to introduce Jordanian companies to Google’s cloud solutions and stress the importance to improve data processing.
CEO of iCloud Solutions, Ahmed Eid, said his company works jointly with regional authorities and companies during the digital transformation, which has become necessary, in light of the pandemic and increased reliance on remote work.
The regional director of iCloud Solutions in Jordan, Mohammad Kurdi, said Royal directives instructed focus on stimulating the government and private sector to stay up to date with the rapid technological developments and cloud computing by providing “appropriate and effective” solutions to improve companies’ performance.
During the Google Cloud Solutions Conference, Hanandeh awarded a number of companies in appreciation of their efforts in the field.
